Could you use a shot of positivism right now? I know I sure could. Good thing I am here to help!

Drop down there to the comments and leave your username. Then, go around to the threads of your friends/acquaintances and leave one word that you think describes them. The catch? If someone else has already used the word you want to use, you have to come up with a new one. Seen this person once or twice in a community and found their posts to be funny? Let them know! Best friends or general acquaintances alike, this is the place for an ego massage.

And, of course, the words need to be positive. "Dipshit," while funny, is not very esteem-boosting.

Let's leave our friends a veritable them-thesaurus, shall we?

Feel free to copy and paste this into your own LJ to spread the love around:

Back to School Friending Meme Extraordinaire!

I have always wanted to do a friending meme in my journal! Why? Because friending memes are super cool, and I am not gonna lie, every time somebody posts one, I think, "Damn, I should have done that."

So I am doing it now! The entry is public, so please, share!

Copy and paste this into a comment and let your colors show! *

* We here at the [livejournal.com profile] rhetoricians friendstravaganza experience make no guarantees regarding the caliber or quality of potential friend candidates, only that she has some awesome friends and wants to share them and make some new ones!

Of course, for this to work, it has to be shared! Here is a link to the HTML code for the sharing portion of our fair meme!

ETA: The HTML code should link back to this entry now! I am a huge derp. Please post away! (there might be a spare "div" in there but if you just delete it it'll be A-OK).

Feel free to ignore this, LJ friends! I wanted to have a post on my journal so I can keep all of my BPAL sales straight. :) Unless of course you are my LJ friend and into BPAL, in which case, please peruse!
---------------

WTF is a BPAL? - BPAL is short for Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs, a perfume oil company started a few years ago. It is run by a lovely husband and wife team, and has a hugely wide fan-base. It has scents inspired by everything from the periodic table to Alice In Wonderland, to an entire line of scents based on Neil Gaiman novels.

What is a BPTP? - The Black Phoenix Trading Post - a sister-site to BPAL. They sell socks, t-shirts, bath oils, room sprays, and other BPAL-scented goodies.

... imps? What are those? - An imp is a 1 mL sample of a BPAL perfume oil. It usually gets quite a few wears out of it. A "goblin squirt" is the imp version of a room spray.

What is the difference between "GC" and "LE" imps you listed down there?  - A GC scent is a General Catalog one - it is always available, and is cheaper because it won't be going anywhere any time soon. An LE scent is Limited Edition - it was only around for a short amount of time. I have priced all the GCs at a flat, lower rate. LEs are priced based on their rarity/how long ago they retired, and both are priced lower if they are not as full.

So if that's an imp, how big is a bottle? - Bottles are 5 mL in size and get a lot of wears out of them. Sometimes I sell bottles with wandcaps - this means that the bottle has a glass rod hanging down inside the bottle, and you can use that rod to apply the perfume oil.

Why should I buy BPAL? - It's a unique fragrance experience, very different from your run-of-the-mill perfume. Once you smell or try BPAL blends, it's very hard to go back to the commercialized stuff!

This is one of those requisite "friends only" entries. If you want to be friends, absolutely add me and I will add you back. Just comment here first and let me know, or I won't notice you've added me. And that would just be awful, now wouldn't it? The answer is "yes".
