I have always wanted to do a friending meme in my journal! Why? Because friending memes are super cool, and I am not gonna lie, every time somebody posts one, I think, "Damn, I should have done that."

Job/year in school: I wish I were still in school. I miss being a student. I'm trying to find a teaching job now.

(Don't say anything lame like "no job" or "professional lazyass" - dig deep, people!): I'd be a professional academic. I enjoy teaching but I love being a student and learning new things. I'd just take classes for the sake of learning something new and maybe lecture occasionally.
What does the subject matter of most of your LJ entries seem to focus on? (eg: real life, fandom stuff, writing, graphics, etc): My LJ is mostly real life stuff.
What are you looking for in a new friend? Do you care about how often people comment?:I don't care if you comment a lot or not, I'm not a huge commenter. I go through phases where I'm "COMMENT ON ALL THE THINGS!" and other times where I feel like just reading. I'd like to add people I can be good friends with.

I'm a crazy animal nut myself. I just don't get why Hollywood thinks of them (peacocks) as bad luck when so many other world cultures see them as beneficent, you know? Meh, I should totally look up my Fenster post and send it to you, it's back from when I used to live in a house that had peacocks!

Ooh, a Tetris fan! I used to spend hours playing that on my Gameboy, back when they were the size of house bricks. I still have it somewhere because I've never found a version of Tetris that I like so much.

I need to stop being a geek about that and ask, in a nice normal way, if you'd like to be friends.
