Apparently my comment was too long :(

Name (or what you go by on LJ): Tiff, Tiffany or Bloon all work.
Age: Mid-twenties.
What zodiac sign are you? Do you put much stock in that sort of thing?: Capricorn. I find it interesting. I still argue with people about my Chinese Zodiac sign because I was born BEFORE the year officially turned over, but because most people go strictly by year I'm always declared a different sign. Being one or the other sign doesn't hurt one way or another, of course, but it's fun to think about.
Are you in any of the Harry Potter landcomms here on LJ? (HiH, H_E, etc)? What house? I'm a Ravenclaw over at HiH. :)
Location (or a close approximation): Los Angeles.
Job/year in school: Comm college, hope to transfer since I'm down to one class I need to take to get out. I'm hoping to study Anthropology, maybe with a cultural ecology emphasis or something.
Favorites lightning round!
Favorite...
Movies: The Iron Giant, Young Frankenstein, Fantastic Mr Fox, I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK, Pan's Labyrinth, Clue, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and The Court Jester.
Books: The Orphan's Tales duology (Catherynne Valente), Bridge of Birds (Barry Hughart), Was (Geoff Ryman), The Neverending Story (Michael Ende), Midnight Robber (Nalo Hopkinson). Fantasy, but not the swords and sorcery kind. I'm trying to branch out into genres, so book recs are always welcomed!
Video games: To be honest, I haven't played many video games. I was a WoW played for a couple years (kicked the habit halfway through WotLK), but I still have a soft spot for the game. I LOVE casual games, though! Such as Transformice, Robot Unicorn Attack, most of Nitrome's and Orisinal's games, etc.
TV shows: MLP Friendship is Magic, Leverage, M*A*S*H, Project Runway (am unimpressed by this season's crop of designers so I've only been following TLo's recaps), Top Chef (esp Top Chef: All Stars, although that hasn't been as good since the first one, with Hubert Keller), Xena: Warrior Princess... There's a LOT on Netflix I still want to watch or finish watching. IT WILL NEVER END. I don't know how others keep up with so many shows PLUS watching a backlog of older shows.
On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being "what the fuck is a fandom?" and 10 being "I love so many fandoms!" how much is your LJ an expression of your love for fandoms?: 4-ish. I've only been involved (to some degree) in three fandoms: Sailor Moon (way back in 98-03), MLP Friendship is Magic (somewhat current, but not too deeply explored), and HP (for the HiH comm). However, I like it when people share what they love, because evil, awesome enablers are the best! Oh, and I guess I DO talk about comics and animation a fair bit, when I'm not talking about writing or my personal life.
If money was no object (eg: every career made the same amount annually), what job would you have? (Don't say anything lame like "no job" or "professional lazyass" - dig deep, people!): That is something I'm still trying to decide now. That would eliminate a lot of my anxiety in pursuing Anthropology, however. It'd be nice not to worry about things like grants in order to fund my traveling and stays in other areas. Or a webcomicker, since my artist friend would be free to draw all the time if she didn't have to get a regular ol' desk job if we're being paid anyway.
What does the subject matter of most of your LJ entries seem to focus on? (eg: real life, fandom stuff, writing, graphics, etc): Writing, my creative projects, some of my interests (comics, webcomics, animation - I post vids of my favorite animated shorts sometimes or trailers to exciting movies), and personal stuff.
