Favorite... Movies: I don't really watch movies much, so I always have a hard time trying to remember which ones I like D: But if I have to mention some... All Resident Evil movies, all Lord of the Rings movies, some Harry Potter movies (when I don't compare them to the books)... And some older movies like Midnight Express and A Clockwork Orange. Books: No Longer Human and other books by Dazai Osamu, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Dracula by Bram Stroker (I have yet to finish it but it's already one of my favourites!), various books by Mishima Yukio, Harry Potters, The Lord of the Rings, The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams.. I am currently reading and rather enjoying the Southern Vampire Mysteries novels by Charlaine Harris, and also have Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin as well as The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss on my table waiting to be read. Video games: I don't really play any other games than World of Warcraft, but that one I really enjoy. I also like some Zelda games and FFIX, and plan on starting Champions Online with a couple friends! TV shows: Lost, The Walking Dead, True Blood, Prison Break, Modern Family. I don't watch TV shows much, either. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being "what the fuck is a fandom?" and 10 being "I love so many fandoms!" how much is your LJ an expression of your love for fandoms?: I think it ranges somewhere between 2-4, haha. I mostly post about my life, although I will also occasionally babble about books or movies or TV shows, but not really in a fangirly way. I don't mind people who are fangirls/fanboys though. :D I used to be a pretty HC fangirl myself too, but I've kind of lost that now and sometimes feel If money was no object (eg: every career made the same amount annually), what job would you have? (Don't say anything lame like "no job" or "professional lazyass" - dig deep, people!): If education or lack thereof doesn't count either, then I would like to continue doing two jobs, one of which I would like to be a "real" bartending job (I don't have bartending education so I can only make a few drinks and mostly concentrate on cleaning up and stuff), and the other to be translating. I love languages and speak two languages fluently in addition to my native language Finnish (those would be English and Japanese), and understand some other languages to some extent (Swedish/Norwegian the most after my fluent languages). I would LOVE to become a translator; I love to translate stuff on my freetime, so it would be amazing to be able to get money for it too! I also like how relaxed my current job is, so I wouldn't mind continuing to do it occasionally too. I really like variation though, so I would definitely want to do more than just one job.
